Neelam Vaidya is the co-founder and CEO of ViridisChem, and a strong proponent of Green Chemistry. Since the company’s inception, she has been leading its efforts in bringing critically needed software solutions that encourage and enable toxicity-focused product development throughout various industries. Neelam is a veteran entrepreneur with track record of founding and successfully leading companies from inception to profitability within a short period of time. Having founded 3 successful companies, she has over 30 years of industry experience in both high-tech and bio-tech with extensive expertise in developing large enterprise B2B software platforms. Over the years, she has designed and developed more than 6 commercially successful first-in-market products (software as well as physical products). In the past, as the co-founder and CEO for over 10 years, Neelam lead the company ChiroSolve that helped pharmaceutical companies define optimum drug development processes.

Rahul Vaidya (CTO)

Rahul Vaidya is the co-founder and CTO of ViridisChem. He is a hands-on engineering leader and technologist specializing in AI-machine-learning and cloud technologies. He is an accomplished software engineer with Masters degree from UCLA (Univ. of California, Los Angeles)  with over 10 years of industry experience in building full stack of enterprise solutions using cloud platform. In the past, he was the lead architect for the company Lightening Bolt and was able to lead the company to its current industry lead position.

Dr. David Constable (Technical Adviser)

David J.C. Constable is the Science Director of the American Chemical Society’s Green Chemistry Institute®. In this role, he works to catalyze and enable the implementation of green chemistry and engineering throughout the global chemistry enterprise. David has held a variety of industry roles in Energy, Environment, Safety and Health focusing on influencing scientists, engineers and decision makers responsible for chemical research, development and manufacturing in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Aerospace and Defense industries.  He has developed a variety of programs, systems, tools, and methodologies that integrated sustainability, life cycle inventory assessment, green chemistry, and green technology activities into existing business processes.

Lucy Reckseit (Business Adviser)

Ms. Lucy Reckseit is a corporate attorney with extensive experience counseling mid-stage to late-stage venture-backed companies across a variety of sectors. In 1998, she pioneered the part-time or “fractional” in-house general counsel model for companies that are not yet in need of a full-time in-house counsel. Among her “extracurricular” activities, Lucy serves on the global advisory board for Astia (formerly, the Women’s Technology Cluster), an international accelerator for women-led companies. Ms. Reckseit is also a Board Advisor for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the global Association of Corporate Counsel and serves as Chair of the local Pro Bono Committee. She received her baccalaureate degree in psychology from Vassar College, an interdisciplinary masters’ degree in education and developmental psychology from Tulane University and her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
